In 2021, she came into the care of her current owner, who provided her with a loving home for the last five years.
During their time together, Gracie taught her owner valuable lessons about unconditional love and patience. Unfortunately, Gracie’s health declined significantly in her final days. She lost interest in food, became incontinent, had trouble with balance, and could no longer support her own weight. Blood tests indicated that she was suffering from advanced kidney disease. Ultimately, Gracie’s owner felt that it was time to let her go.
