In 2012, the photographer captured this image during the early days of exploring this hobby using a Sony Hx100v point-and-shoot camera. There are many aspects that they wished they had handled differently. With another chance, they would have crouched lower, adjusted the camera settings to better highlight the mountains, and waited for the moose to be in a more ideal spot. At that moment, their excitement led them to snap pictures without much thought. While they still appreciate the photo and cherish the memories from that trip, they feel that the image has potential elements that could have been improved with better preparation and knowledge.
