The rock band Hoobastank, active in the 2000s, has canceled its planned tour in Brazil for 2026. The band announced this decision through an Instagram post made late last month. They cited rising logistical costs as a reason beyond their control for canceling the tour. Hoobastank expressed disappointment, noting their excitement to return to Brazil after many years. They also acknowledged the impact this cancellation would have on fans, especially those who may have made travel plans.
The band addressed their fans in Brazil, stating they were sorry for the news and recognized how much it meant to everyone. They promised to make it up to fans when circumstances allowed. The tour was scheduled to start on November 1, with the first performance at the Somos Rock Festival in Vila Velha. Other shows were planned in Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Campinas, and São Paulo, concluding on November 8 at the Rock Festival in Nova Iguaçu. This tour would have marked Hoobastank’s first visit to Brazil in over ten years.

Despite the tour cancellation in Brazil, Hoobastank is still set to perform at The Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles with Audiovent on November 20. They are also scheduled to join Staind and Seether on a North American tour in March 2027.
