While cats and dogs are often seen as the stars of the internet, birds have been making their own mark in the world of humor. If you take a closer look, you’ll see a variety of characters that any comedy show would love: fluffy little birds that are all feathers, dramatic parrots, and pigeons that build nests with just a few twigs. These birds express a wide range of emotions, from yelling to pouting, often in just a short span of time, and they seem unaware of their own comedic appeal.
The Instagram page called The Birbs Lounge highlights this humor through a collection of memes, unusual pictures, and amusing moments featuring birds. This includes cockatoos having meltdowns and tiny songbirds that look tired of the week by Monday. When you combine a bird’s funny expression with a clever caption, it creates an entertaining meme almost effortlessly.
Here are some of the funniest selections from the page that may persuade you that birds should receive their own comedy award. Scroll down to enjoy these entertaining birds, and feel free to share which one made you laugh the most in the comments.
