Diddy Reportedly Treated for Head Injury Days After His Release Date Was Pushed Back

Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly left federal prison early on October 10 for treatment of a head injury, although details remain unverified, including the injury’s cause. According to reports from TMZ and People, he was taken from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey by ambulance around 1 a.m.

A source informed People that Combs was hospitalized for a non-life-threatening issue and returned to prison later that day. It was reported that he was alert and communicative upon his return before sunrise, but he was placed in solitary confinement afterward.

Diddy’s spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, acknowledged awareness of the situation and stated they were working to confirm the details, emphasizing concerns for Combs’ health and well-being.

This hospital visit occurred shortly after it was announced that his release date had been pushed back from January 21, 2028, to March 2, 2028, according to Bureau of Prisons records. When asked for comments on the change, the Bureau declined to provide specifics for safety and privacy reasons.

Reports earlier in October indicated that Combs had been placed in solitary confinement following a story by NBC News that detailed how he allegedly lived comfortably in prison. This included claims that he had access to a modified tablet for watching movies and a cellphone for social media, as well as enjoying special meals and massages.

Engelmayer raised concerns over how such personal information about Combs’ life in prison was being shared, suggesting that someone had recorded him and that various stories were being reported from within the facility.

Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence after being found guilty of charges related to transportation for prostitution, while more serious charges resulted in his acquittal during a high-profile trial in Manhattan. After his sentencing, he was moved from a detention center in Brooklyn to Fort Dix, a lower-security prison near Philadelphia.
