A little over three months ago, a man found a cat while he was out walking his dog. The cat was weak, dehydrated, and suffering from several skin problems and pests. Although he was not fond of cats, he believed in helping those in need. They shared her story on various online platforms, but no one came forward to claim her. Eventually, they were able to care for her enough to give her a bath, discovering that she was a tabby rather than just brown. She enjoyed the bath, and they were trying to introduce her to their other cats. Then, a surprising message came through on Nextdoor. The cat’s original owners recognized her! She had been missing for nearly five years, and she was found just two blocks from her home. Support came pouring in from those who had sent her love. The cat’s name is now Daughter. What do you think about her journey back home?
