Roseanne Barr, known for her sitcom in the 1980s, has made headlines recently with her bold statements about famous individuals. This week, she revealed surprising details about the marriage between Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley. Barr mentioned that Presley, who was a close friend of hers before her death, once shared that her experiences with Jackson were very exciting. Barr stated that Presley described Jackson as being exceptional in bed.
Following her firing from ABC due to a controversial tweet, Barr is making a return to television with a new self-funded sitcom called Meemaw: A Modern Day Fable. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter on October 20, the discussion shifted from her show to her friendships with other celebrities, including Madonna and Sandra Bernhard. However, Barr highlighted Lisa Marie Presley, calling her “the best person” she had ever spent time with.

When asked if Presley had spoken about Jackson, Barr claimed that Presley said he was her best experience. She added that Presley felt Jackson knew how to say what women wanted to hear. When it came to believing Presley’s comments, Barr affirmed that Presley was truthful about such matters.
Jackson and Presley were married from 1994 to 1998. Barr also claimed that Presley shared insights about her short marriage to Nicolas Cage. This isn’t the first time details of Jackson and Presley’s relationship have come to light. In her posthumous memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown, Presley shared that Jackson was a virgin when they first met in 1992. She noted that while he had kissed Tatum O’Neal, his relationship with Brooke Shields was not physical apart from a kiss.
Presley expressed surprise when Jackson began pushing for more physical intimacy and that this time was the happiest she had ever felt. Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie’s mother, also wrote about her daughter’s relationship with Jackson in her memoir, Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis. She recalled asking Lisa Marie if she had a physical relationship with Jackson because she was uncertain, to which Lisa Marie reportedly responded positively.
Priscilla provided a critical view of Jackson, calling him a “manipulative man” and expressing her disapproval of his marriage to her daughter. She later discussed Lisa Marie’s marriage to Cage, recounting a significant argument on Cage’s yacht that resulted in him throwing Lisa Marie’s expensive engagement ring into the ocean. Priscilla noted that Cage eventually bought another larger diamond for Lisa Marie, and they got engaged again.
In total, Lisa Marie Presley was married four times, starting with musician Danny Keough in October 1988, with whom she had two children, Riley and Benjamin, before their divorce in 1994. What are your thoughts on these revelations?
