According to an Instagram post, Billy Joel’s collection features motorcycles from different eras and brands, such as Ducati, BMW, Moto Guzzi, Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, Triumph, Honda, and Kawasaki. Select motorcycles from his collection will be on display at Christie’s Rockefeller Center from October 8 to 12, and media and interested buyers can book viewing appointments beforehand.
Billy Joel has had a passion for motorcycles for a long time. Despite knowing the risks and having experienced a serious crash, he continued to ride. He expressed that he has always found a sense of freedom in riding and a way to disconnect from the world. Although his record label and insurance companies advised him to stop, he was not deterred.
