They used a spare dog cage, typically for rescuing birds, to keep the kitten safe, and it settled down to rest until their partner could take it to the vet for a checkup. Since then, the kitten has been a wonderful addition to their family. The kitten enjoys being dressed up, bathed, and even has her nails trimmed and teeth brushed. She comes when called from the backyard and provides a lot of fun for both the family and their Jack Russell mix, who needed a more playful companion since their other dog is quite old and often sleeps.
