A cat was found abandoned in the desert, clearly having been a pet at some point. The person who discovered her already cared for four rescue cats and intended to find a new home for this one. However, the individual’s wife immediately took a liking to the cat, leading them to keep her, bringing their total to five cats.
They took the new cat to the veterinarian, where it was determined that she did not have a microchip and had not been neutered. The vet also checked for viruses, and she passed those tests. Although the cat received a bath and grooming, she seemed unhappy during the process, which might have been a new experience for her.
