Even MAGA Reproaches Trump for “Disgusting” Tiger Video Following Yorkshire Tragedy

Donald Trump recently shared an AI-generated video of himself wrestling a large tiger, which many found odd given the recent death of William Chapman, who was killed in a tiger attack. The video was posted on Truth Social, showing Trump on a green lawn confronting a tiger. In the clip, he appeared to scold the tiger before chasing it and overpowering it, ending with a smile towards the camera.

The video played the song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” in the background and was uploaded just hours after Trump shared a video of the tragic incident involving Chapman at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in England. That post included a message that seemed to urge caution around nature.

Following the initial footage of the attack, Trump shared more videos related to animal attacks, though it is unclear if they were all real or AI-generated. Many social media users expressed their discomfort with Trump’s posts, especially so soon after the tragic event. Some comments described his behavior as disrespectful and called for people to recognize the seriousness of his actions.

Supporters of Trump also criticized the video, with some stating that it crossed a line. William Chapman, who was in his mid-20s and a former child actor, died after a tiger named Altai attacked him on October 10 while he was visiting a tiger exhibit at the park. Witnesses reported that Chapman climbed into the enclosure to take photos just moments before the attack occurred.

The South Yorkshire Police confirmed that the tiger caused serious injuries to Chapman. Following the incident, there was concern about Altai’s future, but park officials assured the public that the tiger would not be euthanized. They expressed gratitude to those who showed concern and extended their sympathies to Chapman’s family.

Trump has shared various AI-generated videos in the past, including ones of himself in different scenarios. What do you think about Trump’s decision to post this video after such a tragedy?
