Hayden Christensen, known for his role as Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequels, once found himself in an unexpected situation at home. While on the phone with a friend, he heard the front door open and footsteps moving upstairs. Assuming it was his friend playing a prank, he pretended to engage in a playful dance around his fireplace before sitting back down to continue his conversation. After a while, he decided to check on what his friend was doing, but soon realized it was not his friend at all. He noticed that a man was in his home with his belongings.
During an L.A. Comic Con panel on October 30, Christensen shared this story after a moderator asked about unusual fan encounters. The intruder quickly recognized Christensen and apologized for being there. He returned the items he had taken and explained that he was struggling financially and was trying to gather money to get home. Christensen then suggested that if the man returned the next day, he would drive him to the train station and pay for his ticket.
The man expressed concern that he would not be able to find a job in his current clothes, leading Christensen to help him by giving him some clothes and shoes from upstairs. However, the man did not show up for the ride the next day. Christensen concluded his story by humorously reminding everyone not to burglarize his house again, mentioning that he had effective security cameras.
