Heidi Klum showcased her unique Halloween costume at her annual party, known as Heidiween. The well-known supermodel shared a video on Instagram where she wore a costume resembling a gruesome severed hand. In the caption, she referred to her outfit, saying “TALK TO THE HAND” and added “2026 HERE WE GO.” Her costume included long red nails and oversized replicas of her engagement and wedding rings.
Klum attended her Halloween celebration at Cathedrale in New York City on October 31, 2026. Earlier, on October 24, she had teased her costume on Instagram, posting a close-up of what looked like a large prosthetic and asking, “What’s my costume?” She also hinted at her outfit again on October 27 by sharing a photo of prosthetic intestines.

Arriving at the party, Klum was accompanied by helpers dressed in blood-stained hazmat suits. While speaking with PEOPLE, she explained her costume idea came from observing her hand, pondering how she could create a costume where her fingers could act as legs. She collaborated with makeup designer Mike Marino to make her idea a reality. Marino initially had concerns about the complexity of the severed hand concept but eventually brought the costume to life after four months of work following a year of planning.
Klum mentioned that she still keeps all of her past Halloween costumes, contrary to what some people think about disposing of them. She noted that most costumes remain in good condition and are stored properly. Since 2000, except for 2020 and 2021, Klum has held her Heidiween party each year, and she dressed as Medusa last Halloween. Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, could not attend this year’s celebration due to his band, Tokio Hotel, being on tour in Europe.
