Cheating can break friendships, and not many people approve of it. Statista reports that just 7% of Americans find adultery acceptable, so it makes sense that someone might not want to be friends with a person who cheats. One woman strongly believed in putting her friendship first when she chose not to invite the woman who started dating her best friend’s ex-husband to her wedding anniversary. She wanted to support her friend and even turned to the Internet for ideas on how to get back at the woman and her ex for what they did. The woman couldn’t let go of what her mutual friend did, which was getting involved with her best friend’s husband.
When her friend learned about her plans, the response was not what many anticipated. In the comments, the woman noted that if her plan went wrong, she might end up isolating herself from their entire friend group. While some advised her to ignore the cheaters, others had ideas for revenge that were more dramatic.

What do you think about the situation?
