A man named Walt Z, who works for Red Baron pizza in Michigan, was having a tough day. He was busy stocking frozen pizzas as a late-night delivery worker. Despite his exhaustion, he greeted a customer kindly when asked for the time. However, the situation quickly changed when a man approached him with a question. This man pretended to steal ten dollars using Apple Pay while filming the incident for online content.

Walt became upset and emotional during the exchange. He questioned the man recording him, walking toward the front of the store. The prankster insisted it was just a joke, but Walt expressed how serious it was for him. He mentioned his hard work and the responsibilities he had at home, including his children. Walt was frustrated that this incident was being filmed, fearing it could lead to consequences for him. He pointed out that he had bills and kids depending on him, making it clear that this was not a light matter.

After the video was shared online, many people showed support for Walt. A man named Luke Oakenshield created a GoFundMe page to help him, stating he did not know Walt but wanted to ensure he received any donations. Oakenshield emphasized that the fundraiser was about supporting hardworking individuals who shouldn’t fear losing their stability due to someone’s need for attention online.

The response was overwhelming, with donations reaching over $410,000 in just one day. The GoFundMe page reported that they had located Walt, and he was extremely grateful for the support. Oakenshield noted that Walt asked for privacy and that GoFundMe would help transfer the funds to him.

Additionally, Red Baron Pizza confirmed that Walt still worked for them and recognized him as their “employee of the month.” They stated that he was still part of their team and had support from fans, including the company itself.

What do you think about how quickly people came together to help Walt?
