My daughter didn't regain consciousness after surgery.

Earlier this year, a small kitten was found under a car. She was about six weeks old and had a serious eye problem. After taking her to the veterinarian, she received antibiotics and eye drops, which seemed to help. However, the infection returned earlier this week, so she was taken back to the vet. They informed her owner that her eye had ruptured. The owner was unsure if the kitten was in pain but trusted the vet’s advice. The vet recommended surgery to remove the damaged eye to prevent further issues.

The surgery was scheduled for today, and the owner took her in early in the morning. By noon, the owner had not received any updates, so they called the clinic. The staff said the surgery had just begun and that they would call back with more information. A short time later, the clinic called to say that they were performing CPR because the kitten had not responded well to the anesthesia. Sadly, the kitten did not regain consciousness after that. The owner expressed feeling lost and heartbroken, stating the kitten had trusted them for care. The kitten was described as sweet, loving cuddles, making biscuits, and enjoying the sunshine.
