Former reality TV personality Melissa Rycroft has been charged with her second DWI shortly after resolving her first case. According to TMZ, she faces multiple charges, including DWI, driving with an invalid license after previous convictions, and causing damage to a vehicle under $200. The Southlake Police Department alleged that Rycroft ran into an ambulance that was stopped at a sign before leaving the scene.
After being pulled over, Rycroft was arrested and taken to the Keller Regional Detention Facility. Her bond was set at $7,500 for the DWI charge, $1,000 for the damage charge, and $500 for the invalid license. Earlier, in 2025, police responded to another DWI incident involving Rycroft, where they found a black Cadillac Escalade that had struck a tree. Witnesses reportedly observed the Escalade driving erratically before the crash.

Following her arrest for the 2025 DWI, Rycroft was taken to Tarrant County Jail. In August, she was sentenced to 20 months of probation for that DWI charge. As part of her sentence, she was ordered to pay approximately $2,000 in fines and court costs, complete 36 hours of community service, undergo DWI education, and participate in a substance abuse evaluation. She is also prohibited from drinking alcohol or using drugs while on probation.
