Almost 20 Years Since Her Early Modeling Start, Thylane Blondeau’s Life Appears Quite Different

In 2006, before social media became a big part of our lives, five-year-old Thylane Blondeau from France became famous overnight. Vogue Enfants named her “the most beautiful girl in the world,” and this started her long journey in the public eye. Now, nearly 20 years later, Blondeau has grown up. She has navigated her childhood fame and is now a successful high-fashion model and businesswoman. Although people on the internet sometimes comment on her looks, she does not let it bother her.

Thylane Blondeau was born to French football player Patrick Blondeau and TV host Véronika Loubry, which put her in the spotlight from a young age. Instead of learning to tie her shoes, she was already walking the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier at the age of four. By the time she was five, Vogue Enfants had called her “the most beautiful girl in the world.” At ten, she stirred up a lot of attention with a controversial photo shoot for Vogue.

In 2015, she officially joined IMG Models, and her career really took off. She began appearing on magazine covers like Jalouse and worked with celebrities such as Zendaya for a Dolce & Gabbana campaign. She walked the runway for brands like Tommy Hilfiger and became an ambassador for L’Oréal. Blondeau also explored acting, appearing in films like Belle & Sebastian: The Adventure Continues and The Loneliest Boy in the World. In 2018, she was named the “most beautiful face” in the world by TC Candler, known for creating a list of beautiful faces.

Reflecting on her childhood fame, Blondeau once said she didn’t really understand how famous she was. She shared that as a child, she was focused on other things, like playing on her iPad. This perspective helped her build a strong career even after the early excitement faded. At the age of 17, she launched her own clothing line called Heaven May. She later started her beauty brand, Enalyht, and a Paris-based handmade clothing label called No Smile.

Recently, Blondau marked an important personal event. Besides managing her fashion brands, she keeps nearly seven million followers updated on social media and continues to be a prominent figure in high fashion. She recently married her long-term partner, French entrepreneur Benjamin Attal, in a small ceremony in Paris with close friends and family, marking a new chapter in her life.

Though she has matured, it seems that some internet users still have opinions about her appearance. As she reached adulthood, some people began commenting negatively about her looks, while others offered unsolicited advice. What do you think about the way people react to her online?
