Last weekend, a couple took their Airstream to a forest rest stop without their children or pets. They found a kitten, which they later learned had been abandoned a few weeks earlier. After searching the area, they didn’t find any other kittens. That first night, they set up a cozy space for her in the back bedroom, complete with a litter box and toys, as they typically bring their own cats on trips.
While they thought the kitten was sleeping, they soon discovered she was very much awake when she jumped onto the husband and startled him with her claws. In a sudden move, she dashed down the hall and squeezed under a small crack at the bottom of the door. The couple noted that she didn’t seem bothered by the situation. The husband reported that he was okay afterward.
