Natalie said that they are still coming to terms with the loss. She expressed that talking about it is very difficult but they want to share some of Nicole’s story. Natalie noted how Nicole encouraged everyone to enjoy life and avoid fear, even participating in CrossFit while undergoing chemotherapy. She recalled a specific moment in church shortly after the diagnosis when Nicole felt a sense of peace after being prayed for, which she said lasted a long time.

To honor Nicole, Nika and Natalie set up a special page for her on the band’s website. They described her as their oldest sister, saying she was their leader and best friend. They expressed their sadness but shared the belief that she is in Heaven and that they will see her again. A private funeral service for Nicole has already taken place.

The identical triplet sisters began their music career as Taylor Red, previously known as Red Roots, in 2010. They released their debut album, Red Roots, in the following year, with their second album, The Middle of Nowhere, coming out in 2012, and their third album, Triplicity, in 2014. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the sisters gained popularity on social media by posting comedy skits and transition videos on platforms like TikTok and YouTube, amassing over 13 million followers on TikTok and 16 million subscribers on YouTube.
