A birdwatcher recently experienced a significant moment by seeing the Fieldfare for the first time, marking it as a lifer on their list. For years, they had been searching for this bird without success. However, unexpectedly, a flock of Fieldfares and Redwings, totaling around 200, appeared before them. This sighting occurred in a location where the birdwatcher had never encountered them before, leading to the belief that the birds were simply migrating through the area. Excited to witness the Fieldfare during its migration, the birdwatcher was grateful to have their camera in the car and quickly retrieved it. Although the Fieldfares moved from tree to tree and were challenging to approach, the birdwatcher felt a sense of wonder at the sighting, viewing the few photos taken as a pleasant bonus. The Fieldfare is listed among their top favorite birds, and they expressed hope that the birds would still be present the following day. What do you think about this sighting?
